Standing Out Instead of Fitting In with Top Photographer Kseniya Berson
“Be curious, not judgmental.”
WHERE YOU SHINE YOUR LIGHT IS WHERE YOUR LOVE WILL GO.
The newest episode of my podcast Flourish or Fold - Stories of Resilience just dropped, and it's a really special one that I am SO excited to share with you!
My guest this week is Kseniya Berson. Not only is she an insanely talented (truly one of the best in the industry) photographer, but she is also a dear friend. Coincidentally, she's also the genius behind the lens of every brand photoshoot for Resilience Leadership Institute, event, and even my wedding!
You totally need to go check out Kseniya's episode in its entirety because it's filled with super enlightening goodness, but when our conversation shifted to confidence I got GOOSEBUMPS🥰
As Kseniya so eloquently said, every single one of us has things (both inside & outside) about ourselves that we just don't like. Even Rihanna. 😉 But if we continually choose to shine our light on our least favorite qualities, then that is all we will see.
When we are purposeful with where we shine that light, for example on the unique things we love about ourselves, then that is what will stand out, both to ourselves and everyone else!
Confidence is key! Keep shining your light & enjoy this episode. ⇣
On the episode, we talk about:
The importance of talking about things you love with friends (5:31)
How to build more confidence through challenging self-limiting beliefs (8:13)
Why struggling to fit in during photography school helped Kseniya to find herself (17:30)
The importance of presenting yourself well to achieve your goals (26:41)
How to find your tribe and avoid the feeling of “fitting in” (33:20)
How understanding your strengths will help you see your own potential (41:19)
