Understanding Ourselves with CEO & Founder Natalie Egan
THE BEST THING YOU CAN POSSIBLY BE, IS SIMPLY YOURSELF.
“We can’t understand each other until we understand ourselves.”
Flourish or Fold podcast guest Natalie Egan (she/her) is the beautiful soul on the front lines of corporate diversity.
In addition to being a rockstar serial tech entrepreneur, role model, and my dear friend, Natalie is the CEO & Founder of Translator, an incredible company that builds diversity & inclusion software for corporations, schools, and nonprofits.
As an openly trans woman with decades of experience in the corporate tech space, Natalie has a unique vantage point when it comes to merging the human-centric importance of diversity & inclusion with the analytical needs of businesses.
In short, Natalie is an incredible human.
Our identities, challenges, traumas, privileges, and everything else that makes us who we are, don't leave us when we walk through the door of our workplace. Rather than hiding the most human parts of ourselves, it's time to create work environments that not only respect the individualities of their employees, but actively seek to foster safe spaces that allow every person to be their whole selves, rather than a watered-down 'biz friendly' version.
The only way we can truly make these changes is by having uncomfortable conversations. When we allow ourselves to be vulnerable, to search for and ultimately discover our truth, we become a generator of change, growth, & authenticity. Natalie is a glowing beacon of hope for anyone who feels like they are unable to live their truth, and I'm beyond honored to be able to introduce you all to her light.
